Atreyu Concert….I lived!

Me, Dillon, Cam, my sister Jamie, her boyfriend Vinnie and two of her friends went to Nashville to watch the Atreyu concert after my methadone training and Brennon’s soccer game.  The venue, Rocket Town, was da bomb.  It is for younger peeps with no drinking kinda stuff.  Up stairs there is a cafe that serves coffee and snacks.  They have an area for acoustic bands to play with couches and tables to chill.  Downstairs is where the bands play.  There is a balcony to watch the show from or you can go down on the floor and mosh…wOOt!  I was impressed that we made it there and back without getting lost.  Country come to town deal…hehe =)  Anywho…I hope to go do it again with them all.  They were great and I had an excellent time!

Today Brennon, Nate and Dawson came to the house to hang out.  This was Dawson’s first time, but he fit right in.  We had some chili and watch some football.  Afterwards they played “guns” outside and computers inside.  After the guys headed out Brennon got his shower, baked some cookies and watched some of the Giants vs. Eagles game.  Tomorrow is Wacky Workout so Brennon went to bed a little earlier.

Curious George

Brennon, Robin and I watched this movie.  We all agreed that it was a very good family movie.  If you have younger kids I would recommend seeing this soon!  Ron Howard is just da man…wOOt!  Another winner.

Of Eden and Envy roxored!

Dillon and his band did a great job last night at the 1st annual Krider Idol.  Even though they didn’t win, I felt like their first song rocked the house and was the best performance of the night.  We will just have to chalk that one up to experience.  I am uploading a video of the performance so be sure to check out the photo gallery for that update.

I only thought I was leaving…doh!

Mike’s brother, Dougie, told me he would sell me a go-kart for $100.  That was a deal I could not pass up so I decided to stay to weld a few places on the kart and to tweak the engine some.  I know Brennon would be excited to ride it so I figured the extra day would be worth it.

On the road again….

Welp.  It is Sunday morning and I will be heading home soon.  I had a good time following Jeff through the ranks of the Karaoke contest each night and just wish he could have won the $1000.  Either way he placed in the top 10 of a bunch of talented contestents, even though he was the best….lol!  Looks like I will start the pilgrimage around Noon.  I will try to check in after I get home and set back up.
