Karaoke Final

Early in the day Mike, Debbie and I went to a flea market.  It was pretty cool just walking around checking things out.  It reminded me of the bazaars I read about in books and stuff.  There were tons of people selling all kids of wares, food items and just about anything you could think of.  I found a couple little guns that I though Brennon would enjoy.  When we left the market we went by and visited with Mike’s mom.  While there Jeff’s brother, Dougie, stopped in on his Honda Shadow.  We all visited for a few and then went to check out Dougie’s new house.  It is a very nice house with a garage and a gazebo area that was pretty suweet!  While looking in Dougie’s shed we came across a go-kart.  I told Dougie I would be by tomorrow to pick it up.  I am not sure how I am going to fit it in my jeep…lol!  I figured Brennon would have a blast running it around.  It would be awesome to eventually have a place where we could all race karts!

After our running around, we made it to the Karaoke final tonight and Jeff did a great job!  He did not win, but the crowd did like his song.  On the way back to his seat people were high-fiveing him and such.  He was happy with his performance and felt like the experience will help him out in the future.  Either way we all had a good time =)

Karaoke

I am in Louisville, KY tonight visiting with Mike Ward and his family.  Mike, Debbie, Mac, Justin and I went to watch Jeff perform in a Karaoke contest.  Tonight was the semi-final.  If he made it into the top 5 he would have the chance to move into the final tomorrow night.  First prize is $1000.  Jeff went with Garth Brooks, Thunder Rolls.  The sound system didn’t carry his voice that well, but he performed the song great.  Fortunately, the Judges table was right up next to the stage so they heard him loud and clear.  In the end Jeff was selected as one of the top 5 and will now get his chance to compete tomorrow night for a thousand dollars…wOOt!  Jeff was a little nervous before they called his name, but was pretty excited when we left for home.  Hopefully he can go home with a little green in his pocket tomorrow night and sleep well knowing he beat out some awesome competition!  Good luck…freak…lol!

Paducah Photos

Here are two pictures from a city, about an hour away, in Kentucky called Paducah.

Here are a few snowy pictures of the courthouse where I work, our house and the Eiffel Tower here in Paris.  This was a big deal for us because it hardly ever snows here =)
